Consumer Action Law Centre is an independent, not-for profit consumer organisation based in Melbourne. It works to advance fairness in consumer markets, particularly for disadvantaged and vulnerable consumers, through financial counselling, legal advice and representation, and policy work and campaigns. This project is in partnership with the Financial Rights Legal Centre in Sydney.
Project: Public education on borrowing options – Stages 2 & 3
This project builds on earlier research funded by FLA on the borrowing habits and motivations of Australians in regards to getting fast cash. The project aims to shift attitudes around Australians’ borrowing habits and to direct Australians to better and safer options.
